Bethany + Clifton + 5 Year ANNIVERSARY { Morehead City, NC Photographer; Millers Landing }

Happy Anniversary Bethany & Clifton! Wow, all I can say is WOW! Time sure does fly! 5 years ago, today, I had the distinct pleasure of photographing one of my best friends, little sisters wedding. I remember looking back and thinking what a beautiful day it was, not only from the day itself, but the light that shown from Bethany and Clifton on their special day. It was clearly obvious how excited they were to be married!I not only wanted to wish the couple a happy 5 years, but to share a letter the bride's father wrote to me today. Not only did her parents write such a sweet note after the wedding, but to hear from them again 5 years later was such a blessing. It warmed my heart to ...

To Josh & Gini: Happy 1 month wedding day anniversary today! ALOHA Browns!First, thank you for allowing me the pleasure of capturing your special day IN Hawaii! What a treat! I will say what I remember so vividly about being around you both was your silliness. It's so evident that you're just crazy in love! Dois was recalling a special moment between you two (Gini), and she said to me that you looked at her one day and said, I'm sooo happy...happy that I get to marry Josh! Todd and I are thrilled you found the love of your lives! I'm not much of a writer, and you know how happy we are for you...so I will leave you with your wedding day story...Love, Meredith (and Todd & ...

Bethany + Clifton + 5 Year ANNIVERSARY { Morehead City, NC Photographer; Millers Landing }

Hi All!So I'm starting this "personal" blog post after I was about to upload all of our vacation images to facebook...yep, facebook...the never ending portal of images and information! haha! Then it dawned on me, wouldn't it be so much better as a blog post? That way, those outside of my circle of close friends can enjoy our cruise experience too!Though not all images will be here, you'll get a taste of the fun we experienced as the "HARTS of the Seas" on the OASIS of the Seas, in the Eastern Caribbean!So, sit back, relax and please try not to laugh as I "attempt" to commentary this blog post...or rather...do laugh! We're having fun here!Let's start off with the ship...of course, it's ...

Bethany + Clifton + 5 Year ANNIVERSARY { Morehead City, NC Photographer; Millers Landing }

When Alex told me what colors she was planning for Avy to wear for this session, I immediately thought, "Those colors would be GREAT with a white house as the backdrop!" To Alex's surprise, when I mentioned it to her, she was thinking the exact same thing! I guess that's what comes of your relationship with your clients, turn friends, after 3 years...THREE years of photographing this amazing, beautiful, and hilarious family. There's NEVER a dull moment with them!I believe the photographs pretty much sum up their love and closeness for one another, as well as their silliness! Sam, Alex & Avery...It has been and always will be a pleasure photographing you all. I have enjoyed watching ...

Bethany + Clifton + 5 Year ANNIVERSARY { Morehead City, NC Photographer; Millers Landing }

As those who know me and follow my blog, and facebook, knows that my husband is currently stationed at Parris Island, SC. What a lot of you don't know is that a friend from my childhood school years ended up stationed there as well! Well, her husband that is :)This place was my first time away from home, so you can imagine that I felt lonely and out of place. When Danielle and her family moved to Beaufort, it was like having a slice of home with me!We started off reminiscing about people, family, things about home that we missed...then we grew in our relationship with God and got involved at church...supported our husbands together, and still do...Lord knows I wouldn't have made it very ...
